Experimental-Space-Rock, with Drummer Sepp'l Niemeyer  (since 2007)

Jakob has been Sepp'ls successor in the role of musical director for antagon theaterAKtion, which significantly shaped their musical collaborations, as well as their friendship. Both share a love for the theatrical, and so the music of KieselStein becomes a mix of psychedelic melodies, electronic beats, poetic vocals and hard riffs. Brought to life on stage with the manipulating force of a MIDI-machine Armada of technical devices and Instruments, integrated in a visual performance of interactive projections.

Due to the lack of opportunity to synchronize their busy schedules, KieselStein remains an "exceptional" project, in both appearance and essence, taking place when circumstances allow for it to happen. Yet, the creative exchange between Sepp’l and Jakob has continuously gone on behind the curtain and throughout the years, making it reasonable to assume that KieselStein will emerge from the Studio onto the stage at some point in the future…
